I scoop the cat box and take out the trash. Yes, I have time to do all the things I like because I have my own home based candle business. I set my business hours around MY life. I don't set my life around a JOB. Flexibility, Freedom and Fun; 3 important factors in home business. "May the dreams of your past be the reality of your future” What I Used To Do: I worked Full Time outside the home for over a decade. I was in retail, sales, administration and office management. I earned a decent living but after the birth of my daughter in 1998 I dreamed of being home to raise her. I spent three years trying to find a way to make that dream happen. Then, finally frusterated with the 'corporate world' I walked in and quit. It was the best thing I ever did, and I have never looked back. However, with the instant loss of a paycheck I was very motivated to bring in extra income. "Whether you think you can or can't, you are correct" Henry Ford What I Realized: When faced with the fact that there would not be a paycheck in 2 weeks, I was forced to look at the situation and make a decision. About Me: Hello, I am Alethea Anderson and I created this website to share a little
about who I am and what I do. I live in Northern Nevada surrounded by panoramic
mountain views, rolling grasses and swaying cottonwood trees. At night
the stars are unmasked and shine brightly with the Milky Way twinkling just
over head. We're in the high desert valley, just a stone's throw from the
"Biggest Little City" we're tucked in a ranch community hidden from the hustle
and bustle of the city yet just minutes away from all the ammenities.
I love it here, and like most of those I've met here, I am a California transplant.

Jr. What I Experienced: Even while I was still working Full Time for someone else, I tried several things to generate a work at home income. Home Typing, Stuffing Envelopes and several different home businesses. Home Typing and Stuffing Envelopes did not make me one penny, I actually lost money as the companies I found were not legit. With the home based businesses I did not have any support, my uplines were more interested in recruiting vs helping their teams succeed, so I left the companies frusterated and also losing my initial investment. But I experienced a lot and learned many new lessons as I moved forward... "There are beautiful people in similar situations, feeling very much the same things
as we. And though we are alone, in a way we are not, and for me there's a comfort
in that.” What I Felt: There were moments of frustration and loss, however once I left the 'corporate world' simply seeing my young daughter every moment of every day was my inspiration to go forward. Anatole France What I Did: Shortly after quitting my job In 2002, I started my own home based business. I love working at home, this way I can be here to take my daughter to school, and make sure she gets home safe after school. I have the freedom to set my own hours and come and go as I please! Buddhist Proverb What I Learned: I learned never to give up, as it is always dark just before the dawn and the sun will soon shine upon a new day! Be positive and fill your world with light. We are seeking ways to spend more time with our families, we are seeking financial security, we are seeking lives that will be comfortable when we retire. Each year more and more people are starting home businesses and taking advantage of the amazing tax benefits and extra income they generate.
